The camRade wetSuit GV EFP Large – Black is a very strong rain cover designed to withstand the elements for use on a wide range of Grass Valley outside broadcasting cameras with Box Lens.
The flexible black fabric with soft lining minimalizes unwanted sound effects caused by wind and rain during operation. The cover is perfect for use during music and sports events, both indoor and outdoor.
The monitor and controls are protected by vinyl windows for easy visibility and the hand controls are fully accessible. The one-piece wetsuit closes around the lens, the hand controls and the viewfinder with elastic straps for a good seal with the camera.
This item is supplied in a waterproof pouch with zipper, which you can use for storage and transportation of the cover when not in active use.

1 Waterproof storage pouch with zipper
Every custom-made wetSuit is different of course, but we can give you some general pointers:
- Open up all the zippers and hook and loop fasteners and fold the wetSuit open as much as possible
- Make sure all items you want to use on the camera are well attached
- Place the body of the camera into the wetSuit, to wards where the zippers close
- Fold it around the camera body while closing it one fastener/zipper at a time
- Close the elastic strap around the lens
- Separate items supplied are best to fit on the camera after the body of the camera is covered
Our wetSuits are made of a special water-resistant fabric and can be cleaned with a moist cloth with water (if desired with mild detergent) or can be washed in the machine at a low temperature setting (maximum 30°C) and mild detergent. Air dry.
